Ugh. Those four wheeled mopeds are horrific. Do they still have those two stroke diesel engines and do they still cost more than a new 'real' citycar like a C1?

They have four stroke industrial diesels from Yanmar or Lombardini and yes, they're about €10k in France so more than some proper cars.

This one's in Stockholm but I expect the pricing is similar.

Just checked. I find that being in Sweden Google takes me to .se sites and so I see that a JS50 Elegance costs 149,000 kr at about 9 to the €.

I thought that's what Ligier was primarily known for? Certainly it's their biggest business. They also own Microcar. The ones built for export markets are more powerful and capable of useful speeds, but at home in France, they're basically glorified golf carts.

They export the golf carts too. The one in my picture ( in Sweden) can do a dizzying 45 kmh.
